Maryland Man Stabs PA State Police Liquor Enforcement Officer Stabbed To Death

A Pennsylvania State Police officer is dead and his accused killer from Maryland has been held without bail, authorities announced in updated statements to the press on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Off-duty PA State Police Liquor Enforcement Officer, Benjamin J. Brallier, age 44, of Kennedy Township, formerly of Moon Township, was found stabbed while running near near the 1900 block of Hassam Road on Montour Trail on Monday, Oct. 21 at 2:52 p.m., Allegheny County Police detailed. 

He was treated at the scene and then taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, the police explained. 

Moon Township Police requested the assistance of the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit, and detectives began an investigation.

Anthony Alexi "Antonia" Quesen also known as Antonia Kaseim, 25, of Baltimore, MD,  has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide, according to her court docket. She has been held in the Allegheny County Jail with bail per state law on the charges.  

Quesen, who is a born male who identifies as a female, according to her social media, was identified as the prime suspect after her bicycle with her bag was found at the scene. 

Quesen was out on bail for a violent robbery at the time of this deadly stabbing, according to a 2023 court docket under the alias Antonia Kaseim. 

Brallier had been a member of PSP for over 20 years and "was an exemplary officer and a devoted father and husband, ” PSP commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris said. More details about his life are available in our full report by clicking here.
